A complete unit on one skid, ready to run
RKFIRE packages are complete skid-mounted units: horizontal end suction or split case pumps coupled with heavy-duty electric or diesel drivers.
Each package comes with a full discharge line: gate and check valves, flexible joints, and pressure switches and gauges on a well-supported header. Piping and wiring are done on the skid, and the unit runs fully automatically from a current-design control panel. Several combinations are available to suit each client and hazard application.

What is on the skid
End suction pump
Rear pull-out design with spacer coupling, so the rotating element comes out without disturbing the piping; hydraulically balanced impeller.
Electric motor
Drives the main or standby pump through a flexible coupling straight from the motor shaft, at 2900 RPM on 50 Hz.
Diesel engine
From 20 kW up to 210 HP, built and tested under strict control procedures.
Jockey pump
Vertical multistage pump that holds network pressure and stops the main pump starting needlessly.
